I'm going to travel with my class because it's our last year together, so we wish to visit London. Here is the planning of the end of year study trip that I consider more interesting .
At first ,on Monday I'll take a look to the Natural History Museum because Monday it’s free .It opens at 10 and close at 17:50, by tube they are within walking distance of South Kensington station on the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. In the afternoon I’m going to visit the Tate Modern Art Gallery .It is Britain's national gallery of international modern art and forms part of the Tate group, it is the most-visited modern art gallery in the world, with around 4.7 million visitors per year!
Tuesday I ‘m going to make a tour through the Kew garden. There are glasshouses and, and beautiful landscapes. There I could climb to the treetops, or delve into rainforest on a guided tour. The prices for adult are £13.90, concessions £11.90,and children can get in free. The park is open since half past nine of the morning excepted Christmas. The address for Wakehurst Place is Ardingly, West Sussex, RH17 6T.I'm going to travel by train (subway)or bus so the nearest railway station is Haywards Heath, approximately six miles away. From here I can take a bus, the nearest stop is Perrymount Road. And if I want to use the bus I have to take the 82 (Monday - Saturday) serving Crawley, Three Bridges & Haywards Heath. Wednesday I 'll visit the London eye ,I heard it's really amazing. The EDF Energy London Eye is situated on the South Bank of the river Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament. The ticket office is located inside County Hall, which is the building directly next to the London Eye to buy them before. I'm going to take the fast track who cost £25.65 for adults. This ticket include thirty minutes on the London Eye, a mini-guide and 10% discount if I buy it by it online. To get there by tube I have to go to Waterloo, it’s the closest tube station to the London Eye. I'm so exited ,I have never been there beforehand it's so high! After that, I’m going to visit Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. Madame Tussauds is a two minute walk from Baker Street tube station. The online advanced tickets cost £25.00, I’ll be there until seven because they close at this hour.
Thursday I’m going to spend all day long in the Camden Market I’m going to makes shops because here I can find handicraft and clothes. It’s opens from Monday through to Sunday, from 10am to 6pm. There are two underground stations at which to get off, Camden Town and Chalk Farm Road, both of which are on the Northern Line. An alternative point to get off is Mornington Crescent, but there is 10 minute walk before you reach the markets.
On Friday I’m going to see the Tower of London. The price of admission is £19.80 for one visit ,It open at 09:00 to 16:30. The nearest station is Tower Hill station located on zone. After that we are going to visit The British Museum , open daily 10.00–17.30, and late on Friday. The nearest underground stations to the Museum are Holborn (500m) ,Russell Square (800m), Goodge Street (800m). The Museum is free to all visitors.
The week end, I’m going to visit all that I want .Starting by Saturday with the Churchill War Rooms. Churchill War Rooms is one of five Imperial War Museum branches that you can visit, it’s Open daily at 9.30am to 6.00pm .To get there the station is Westminster (Jubilee, District or Circle Line) or St James's Park (District and Circle Line) .The Price of the entry is £15.95. An other Attraction in close proximity is Westminster Abbey ,it’s a living Church, part of the Church of England. The Abbey is in the heart of London. Every year Westminster Abbey welcomes over one million visitors who want to explore this wonderful 700-year-old building. You can go there the all week except Sunday.
The next day ,the final day ,I’m going to take the Thames River Boat Cruise.
Boats depart from Westminster Pier, London Eye Pier, Tower Hill Pier and Greenwich Pier. Boats operate every day throughout the year (except Christmas Day) commencing at 10.00 from Westminster. Normal ticket Price for Adult is £13.50
After that I’ll go to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre Tour and Exhibition Located on the bank of the River Thames in Bankside's cultural quarter . The local stations are Mansion House on the District and Circle Lines (10 minute walk),London Bridge on the Northern and Jubilee Lines (10 minute walk), Southward on the Jubilee Line (15 minute walk), and St Paul's on the Central Line (15 minute walk)I can go since 09.00am and the normal ticket price for adult is £11.00 .
To conclude, this trip is going to be fabulous in all senses!
